Oh yes, I have planned to make my first ever contest for a while now. I love contests, so what's wrong of making my own right? So here it is!
The contest is divided into two parts :
- For Malaysian bloggers
- For International (all non-Malaysian) bloggers
The mechanics of the contest is easy. Since this is my first contest, it is sort of an introductory to my blog. So here is what everyone who wants to participate (both Malaysian and non-Malaysian bloggers alike) have to do :
Contest Mechanics :
- Follow me at Google Friend Connect.
- Write a post about this contest and about ENVEEUS.COM at your blog. Make sure you link "http://www.enveeus.com" in your post. Blog post can be either in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
- Add me at Facebook or/and Twitter.
- Once everything is done, please add your blog post permalink at the Malaysian entries (for Malaysian contest entrants) and the International entries (for non-Malaysian contest entrants).

- Share this contest on Facebook with your friends or/and Retweet this contest on Twitter to your followers because the HIGHEST referrer will win a one month (30 days) FREE ad space on my sidebar and one written post dedicated to the winner. This Special Prize is for one (1) winner from either the Malaysian or International Bloggers entry. Only open for non-Private Facebook and Twitter accounts.
- Most creative blog post will win a SURPRISE prize!
Contest starts on 18th AUGUST 2010 and will end on 30th SEPTEMBER 2010. Winners will be notified and prizes will be given out by first week of October. Cash prizes will be sent through Maybank2u (for Malaysian winners) and Paypal (for International winners).

As long as you Follow me, then you write a blog post about this contest and this site and then you add me at FB and/or Twitter, means you're already a participant and will be in the running to win either the First, Second or Third prize (Malaysian category).
However, if you refer this contest and happens to be the most to refer it to your FB and/or Twitter friends OR your blog post on this contest happens to be the most creative, you're not only in the running to win the First, Second or Third prize BUT you could also win the "Special Prizes".
So, try your best coz, *ahem* yup, the prizes ARE tempting! ;)

BTW my 2 cents - I think it's best if you get a banner for the contest - It'll be hard to promote it based on people's entry especially when promoted by a whiner such as myself haha

Oh, ttg the Follow Google Connect tu, it's also untuk kemudahan saya sebab saya boleh terus contact by sending e-mails they register with Google that I can get through the Google Connect. Bukan setakat nak suruh join je bro. :)
OK, maybe I didn't make this clear.. Sebenarnya winner untuk 1st, 2nd and 3rd is chosen on best blog entry. Referrer pulak tak semestinya the 1st, 2nd or 3rd winner but highest referrer dapat Special Prize #1. Then, most creative blog entry (also tak semestinya 1st, 2nd or 3rd winner) will win the SURPRISE prize which is Special Prize #2.
Which means, total prizes adalah 8.. (6 prizes untuk both Malaysian and International category, 1 for highest referrer and 1 for most creative blog entry) ;)
I did the badge in 1 hour.. Is it OK? Or does it look a little kindergarten-y? :-P

Ahhh no problem Haaziq.. It's a long way till the closing date.. But then so far, there's only 1 Malaysian blogger entry so it'll be fun to see other Malaysian bloggers enter as well.. :-)
Firstly, I am not the judge.. There are two other judges, who are also the ones sponsoring the money..
So, for the Prizes 1, 2, 3 (both categories), the judge will choose best and most interesting way the bloggers write about ENVEEUS.COM and this contest. So, make it interesting with your style of writing or your way of prose, all is up to you. The more original the post, the better. As long as you fulfill the criterias of joining this contest (by joining Google Friend Connect, blog about ENVEEUS.COM and this contest, join Twitter and/or Facebook, and put the contest badge at your sidebar) then you will be in the running for Prizes 1, 2, & 3!
For Special Prize #1, highest referrals will be chosen based on results from Google Analytics. Special Prize #2 will be chosen by myself. The more creative you are with your post (say you wanna add videos or photos or you wanna rap about this contest or sing karaoke, etc) the higher your chances of winning Special Prize #2.. Just a tip, I SO love creativity.. :-)
