... is not me.
I seriously have not been following this show until the Top 5. When I heard that one of the contestants that made it into the Top 5 is from Malaysia, I browsed the net for a bit to checkout who it was. Let's just say somebody in my troop knew him once. So, I was intrigued to see how this one and only contestant from Malaysia is going to make it. Will he be in the finals? Will he be able to bag the USD100,000 and the Renault? Coz, you know, I think the Renault is sexy. Wish I had one.
Last night, at exactly 10.15pm, Hallmark Astro aired the Biggest Loser Asia Finale. It was sort of a reunion for all the contestants. But that wasn't what got me laughing out loud. What got me laughing was when the Top 4 contestants was supposed to go through a giant size photo of their "before" look and come out with their new appearance. Aaron was the only one who went through it with enough force and speed for the frame to stay in place. The other three actually got the frame crashing on top of them. Okay, I admit it was bad of me to laugh but don't they have someone in charge to not let the frames fall on the contestants? Who's managing this whole program anyway?
So, who was the winner?
When Carlo came out third, I thought he was going to win. He was so slim! I thought he really lose a lot of weight but when David came out, I was like, that's it, he'll win hands down. The difference of weight loss from when he left the location at A Famosa Resort, Malacca on week 11 was tremendous. He weighed in at 102kg on week 11 and last night for the finale, he weighed in at 74kg thus making him the winner of the First Season! I couldn't help but notice though that he looked rather frail, but maybe that's not important. The numbers is what's important for this type of competition, I suppose.
Congratulations David Gurnani from Indonesia!

saw the photo of david.. he does look a little gaunt.. a little anorexic too if u ask me.. maybe he can use the 100 grand to pump his weight up a bit :-D
HAHA.. True right? How cool can you be if somebody refer to you as that? USD100k or not!
LOL! Pump his weight? I think he's going to buy a house or few houses or something.. USD100k convert to Indonesian rupiahs is a lot.. I mean a lot, A LOT!
Olla Bella.. okay this is a bit weird...
i cant find your reply button.. so instead of replying to your entry, i am replying to your comment.. hiks hiks.. boleh kan?
TABL penuh drama.. hahaha.. Less on the educational aspects, and more on the emotional bruhaha aspects, but one thing for sure, when the program was on air, i would be on my treadmill too, konon-konon bersemangat la nak kurus.. kekeke.
I agree with you, david looks frail. Feels like i can push him with only one finger. And he doesnt look like in his 20s too. But then again, he said that he would gain back a bit of his kilos.
Aha... i am thinking of loosing few (err not few, baaaannyaaakkk sebenarnya) inches here and there... ehhhh i see chipsmore... :-D :-D :-D
Hehehe.. Incik Rizal sudah lupa mcm mana mau pakai JS-Kit la.. If you forget, I have the tutorial at the top of this post.. :D
I think David looks older because he's too thin.. When he was plumper, he looked younger. That's the problem when you lose weight. Too much will make you look gaunt and older. The best thing is maintain your ideal BMI..
Wow you have a treadmill? Can borrow ah? HAHA.. I need to lose my tummy too. But it sure doesn't help coz when you get on your treadmill as you watch the program, I was lounging like Cleopatra with one hand on the remote and another holding a spoon to scoop the chocolate ice-cream in front of me.. :-P :-P :-P
if i join i dont think i can win it.. haha.. =P
